What sets us apart? The CTS Difference has five components:
Hotel "normalization"
When a company books a hotel, the property name can be represented in numerous ways, be it under the property's parent corporation, an affiliated property, or a local variation of the property name. This presents a problem for corporate travel reporting, as a single hotel can be reported under multiple property names, thereby giving an inaccurate representation of the company's true spend with an individual property.
Since we speak to more than 1000 hotels weekly, we have standardized all hotel reservations using a standard name and property chain code identification. We also identify key tokens that can be matched against a central hotel property database when bookings are made across multiple GDSs and agency back office systems. This ensures that each property is represented in a consistent manner when corporate reports are executed, providing true representations of total spend for a given property.
Obsession for accuracy
Our current "close rate” to collection is 94%. It is that high because we gather booking information in the correct manner to make accurate claims. This accuracy translates to:
- Reduced research time. We inform you if a hotel stay actually occurred, thereby eliminating non-commissionable inquiries.
- Fewer outstanding accounts payable days – qualified inquiries increase hotel response rates and reduce time between inquiry and resolution
- Less commission dunning to hotels
Flexible, "always on" reporting
CTS prepares reports for accounting, sales & marketing and executive levels. Each TMC manages its business differently, so we offer custom reports as part of our standard service.
Each client gets access to an online reporting portal that puts a wealth of booking, reconciliation and commission information at their fingertips.
Fee structure options suited to your needs
We work within whatever fee structure works best for our clients, including straight contingency, straight transactional or a blend of both.
Relationships
Your business is built on relationships. So is ours. In these difficult times, a personal touch often is the catalyst needed to get results. The CTS professionals who serve you are in regular contact with hundreds of hotels all over the world. They know, by name, the hotel back office people who can "make things happen."
